1PCI Single Phase Power Controller
Overview
The 1PCI Single Phase Power Controller series from Halmar Robicon (also branded Robicon) is a family of single-phase SCR-based power controllers. These units provide proportional control of AC power to resistive and inductive loads through phase-angle firing of silicon controlled rectifiers, typically accepting analog control signals such as 4-20mA.
Common applications include industrial heating elements in paper processing, plastics manufacturing, extrusion systems, industrial ovens, and packaging equipment. Many units feature adjustable bias, gain, and current-limiting controls.
Range
The series spans a broad range of voltage and current ratings to suit different heating and process loads, including:
- Voltages: 120V, 208V, 240V, and 480V
- Current ratings: from approximately 20 amps up to 350 amps
