UDC2500 Universal Digital Controller

Overview

The Honeywell UDC2500 is a universal digital controller designed for precise temperature and process control in industrial applications. Housed in a 1/4 DIN panel-mount format, these controllers accept a range of sensor inputs — including multiple thermocouple types and RTDs — and provide PID control to regulate heating and cooling equipment. Configurable outputs such as relay, current (4-20mA), and DC outputs allow the unit to be matched to a wide variety of process requirements.

This series includes standard UDC2500 controllers as well as dedicated 1/4 DIN temperature limit controller variants. Many models offer expanded I/O, including auxiliary outputs, digital inputs, and Ethernet communication for integration into networked control systems. The associated auxiliary output / digital input / Ethernet board is also part of this family.
