Swaging/Crimping Controller

Finn-Power is a brand of hydraulic crimping machines that are used to crimp metal fittings onto the ends of pipes and hoses. The controllers for these machines are the electronic devices that regulate the amount of pressure applied during the crimping process, ensuring that the fittings are properly and securely crimped.
Finn-Power has been manufacturing crimping machines since 1973. We are not an authorized distributor for their equipment, but we are able to repair control panels for these machines to help keep your equipment up and running.

Problems that you may see with this equipment includes electrical system failures due to damaged wiring, failed sensors, malfunctioning control systems. Common issues we see with these units are:

• corrupt memory lost parameters

• locked screen

• bad control knob

• button failure

• cracked glass

• bad characters or a dead display

When we receive your controls, we will do a thorough evaluation including, but not limited to:

• verify i/o operation

• verify display

• verify backlight

• inspect glass

• record battery voltage and replace battery

• verify pushbutton operation

• verify rotary encoder and operation

• verify current draw

• verify operation, reset if scrambled

• test password access
