Temperature Control
A temperature controller is a device used to regulate temperature comparing the difference between a setpoint and a temperature measured at the sensor. In addition to simply controlling to a single setpoint, many controllers can also perform complex ramp and soak profiles, scheduling, and other I/O functions.
When these controls fail, the failure can be observed as subtle temperature variations that can affect the final product, or more obvious, like buttons that no longer function. Either way, we have experience getting these controls back in operation. When considering repair vs. replacement for a temperature control, remember to consider the rewiring and reprogramming time that may be involved with upgrading to a more modern control.
